
RH Foundation
(“RHF”) is a specialist non-profit organisation (NPO) which was formed with a mission to assist community leaders, other NPOs and government to :
- Develop skills through education support.
- Grow or support SMME’s and
- Partner or fund CSI projects in or around our communities.
Our main objective is to provide Black People with growth opportunities in public and private enterprises and to encourage meaningful economic participation by Black People in the South African economy. We aim to achieve this by following the following road map :

- Allocate procurement opportunities to SMMEs
- Outsource non-care parts of the business
RHF will partner with accredited service providers where necessary in order to facilitate the mandate and commitments to rural and townships.
RHF is governed by a Board of Trustees which is led by its Chairperson. The board is committed to the values of the organisation, and to raise more capital in the market in order to support more developmental initiatives that will benefit
the disadvantaged.
The Board of Trustees has also embraced the recommendations of the King Code Report and has recently set up various sub-committees to strengthen good governance within the organisation.
In order to fulfill its mandate, RHF will continuously work on strengthening
relationships with government departments and national agencies which focus on different aspects of community development and upliftment. In addition, the RHF forms partnerships with corporate social investment departments and funding agencies.

Through its relationships and partnerships RHF can conducts capacity-building and putting interventions in partnership with NPOs. RHF has designed a range of NPO capacitation programmes but will designate a percentage of its resources to other various NPO.
We will work with both urban and rural based community-based organisation and
communities, conducted training for youth, women, farmers, school governing bodies and school management teams, early childhood learning centres, specialised NPOs,
cooperatives, SMME’s, supplier development and income generating projects.
RHF will look at putting processes that will assist similar institutions to become
sustainable NPOs and cooperatives develop organisational excellence. RHF will assist funders through conducting monitoring and evaluation of funded projects. The Trust also carries out pre-funding and project impact audits on behalf of funders.
